Title: Crop Damage Caused by Wild Animals and Current Wildlife Management
Practices in the Southern Coastal Region of Papua New Guinea.
Abstruct: The study aims to investigate the actual conditions of crop
damage caused by wild animals and to examine the current wildlife management
strategies in the southern coastal region of Papua New Guinea (hereafter PNG).
The primary focus will be on crop damage caused by animals such as wild pigs,
deer, rodents, bats, and birds in villages located along the coast of Gulf
Province. However, any additional issues or regions that arise as relevant
during fieldwork will be progressively incorporated into the research scope.
